The Wersi Galaxy was the largest of the Wersi analogue organs, with three full manuals
driven from two separate tone generators. The Galaxy could be bought assembled or as kit packs for the
enterprising do-it-yourselfer!

Sound |
Aggressive sawtooth organ sound (brass), hollow square wave (woodwind) sound, somewhat bright drawbar sound-- the 'sine' waves for the drawbars are filtered down from square waves on a 'per-octave' basis, and they retain a small quantity of their upper harmonics |
Other Comments |
A fairly complicated instrument construction-wise and operationally. Wersi analogue organs had a lot of flexibility in terms of audio routings and control, but the side-effect is that they are not always simple to operate! |
